Arabia Moomin Hemulen Yellow Plate

The Hemulen is a passionate plant collector, and atop this plate by Arabia, he examines and picks rare collectibles as he travels to the Hattifatteners' island. Wearing his signature lilac-colored dress and illuminated by a bright yellow backdrop, the scene is based on author Tove Jansson's novel Finn Family Moomintroll from 1948. Tove Slotte created these illustrations, taking the classic comics from paper to porcelain beautifully. The porcelain plate has raised walls, perfect for small meals or as saucer for coffee and tea.
