iittala Moss Green Round Bird Bottle
Originally designed in the 1950s by Timo Sarpaneva, the Bird Bottle has been re-introduced to pay tribute to this visionary designer. A part of his pioneering i-collection for iittala, the series included objects that could be seen as being on the border between a utilitarian object and an art object. Made from round curves in earthy moss green, the subtle ābirdāspoutā forms a small but distinct focal point. Although decorative and sculptural in appearance, the Bird Bottle remains functional as a carafe for beverages. The iittala Round Bird Bottle is handcrafted in Finland from mouth-blown glass.
